Data Protection / Privacy Policy

At UKmeds4u.com we feel your privacy is no only important, but essential. The information we collect about you is used exclusively to process your e-Consultation form and to keep you up-to-date with our products and services. If you do not want us to send you information on products or special offers, you can indicate this in your Personal Details section during/after registration, or by following the instructions on the emails you receive.

The information from your e-Consultation will be used by one of our doctors in order to make a diagnosis and write a prescription (pending suitability). If any medication is prescribed, then your prescription will be given to our pharmaceutical supplier in order to dispense your prescription.

All parties in the e-consultation/dispensing process are required by law to keep records of your details for a period of time. No one else will ever see any of your personal/medical information.

We do not divulge or sell any of your personal data to any third parties, ever. If we ever desired to do so, UK data protection laws require that we obtain your written permission first.

What information do we collect? How do we use it?

We will require some of your basic personal details (as the patient), such as: your name, email address, full home address, telephone number, date of birth, gender, weight, height. Your telephone number allows us to contact you urgently, if there is a problem, or any questions, regarding your e-Consultation. After you submit your e-consultation form, our doctor may have some questions regarding your information and we would need to contact you. We would usually correspond by e-mail, as a first means of communication (especially if you are overseas), but we may need to use the telephone in certain cases. Your number will not be disclosed to any third parties.

We will also need to know some medical information about yourself (historical and current), in relation to potentially prescribing any suitable medication.

Of course, you will also need to provide a delivery address (no PO boxes), and payment details to our secure Payment Service Provider (PSP), if you choose to pay online via credit/debit card.

Delivery Information

General

Delivery includes packing, handling, delivery insurance, and postal costs.

All orders are delivered using UK Royal Mail Special Delivery (and equivalent international services, where required), which is an insured & signed-for service. We use completely opaque packaging, with no indication of what it contains (international orders, which require a customs declaration certificate, will list the contents as "health products").

Once dispatched, we can e-mail you a tracking number, so that progress of the delivery can be followed, or so you can estimate the arrival date and time in order to ensure that someone will be at the delivery address in order to sign for the parcel.

PLEASE NOTE: Because someone has to sign for the delivery, and for added security, we will not deliver to P.O. Boxes. Please note this when completing the delivery address details.

SIGNATURE REQUIRED: UK Royal Mail (or equivalent international services) will require a signature from someone at the delivery address to confirm receipt of the parcel. If there is no answer at the delivery address when the delivery is attempted, they will usually leave a card with instruction on how to collect the parcel. If you know that no one will be able to accept delivery at you home address (usually during daytime on a working day), please be sure that the delivery address is a location where someone will be able to sign for the parcel (e.g. where you work).

All delivery times are estimated (as accurately as possible) and we cannot control the actual time it may take for an order to be delivered, as this will be dependent on the carrier and other circumstances.

PLEASE NOTE: Some countries have restrictions on the types of goods which can be delivered into them. We cannot guarantee that your delivery will reach you without being confiscated or without you having to pay customs duties or import taxes, etc. Please read our terms & conditions.

To United Kingdom Addresses (including Northern Ireland)

Delivery is FREE on all deliveries to UK addresses (including Northern Ireland) and they are generally delivered within 1-2 working days of payment clearance (which will not be processed until/unless a prescription is written).
